Interested in staining my parking lot. It is about 2 years old and when the concrete dried it had craters in it. The contractor filled them in with epoxy and it is a dark gray color and the parking lot is concrete color. I wanted to stain the parking lot anyway a medium to dark gray before it is striped. Can you offer me any advice on your products and is it applicable for a commercial parking lot…..

The most economical approach to your situation would be to lightly Grind the Epoxied areas. This process will Lighten the Darkness of the Epoxy Patch to blend in better with your surrounding concrete. Since it is a Parking Lot, it’s going to get darkened from the tires as a result of all the vehicle traffic…does that make sense? I may be the worst salesman representing myself on this but, I believe this would be the Least Expensive route for you to take.
Certainly, if you are trying to make it Look more “Upgraded” to have a more Aesthetic appeal, then the “Staining” would be a great solution! However, there is a bit of Maintenance to this application. It requires Resealing every 3-5 years to keep it from Fading and looking good.
